Refunds & Returns

At D&R Holdings (Pty) Ltd, trading as Liquid Armour (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we want you to shop with confidence. Our Refunds and Returns Policy outlines the process for returning or exchanging products purchased from www.liquidarmour.co.za, ensuring a smooth experience. This policy complies with South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and applies to all orders placed through our website.

1. Eligibility for Returns
You may return or exchange a product if:

  • It is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
  • The return request is made within 7 days of receiving your order, as required by the CPA for online purchases.
  • The product is defective, damaged, or not as described (e.g., wrong item delivered).

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Opened or used products, due to the nature of our coatings (e.g., automotive, wood, or metal coatings).
  • Products damaged due to improper handling or application by the customer.

2. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return or exchange:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@liquidarmour.co.za or 0696800027.
  2. Provide your order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  3. Our team will review your request and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if approved.
  4. Package the product securely in its original packaging and include the RMA number.
  5. Ship the product to: Liquid Armour, 45 Andries Bruyn Street, Horison, Roodepoort, 1724, South Africa, using a trackable courier service.

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective or Incorrect Products: We cover return shipping costs for products that are damaged, defective, or not as ordered. We’ll arrange a pickup via The Courier Guy or reimburse reasonable shipping costs.
  • Change of Mind: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. We recommend using The Courier Guy for reliable delivery.

4. Refunds Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • We’ll notify you via email about approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 business days to your original payment method via Payfast.
  • Refunds include the product cost and original shipping fees (if applicable under the CPA).
  • Allow 3–5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.

5. Exchanges
If you received a defective or incorrect product, we’ll replace it with the same item, subject to availability. Contact us to arrange an exchange, and we’ll cover shipping costs for the replacement. If the item is unavailable, we’ll issue a refund or store credit, based on your preference.

6. Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Coatings that have been opened or applied, as they cannot be resold.
  • Products damaged after delivery due to improper storage or use.

7. Damaged or Defective Products
If your product arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately at info@liquidarmour.co.za with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund and cover all associated shipping costs.

8. Your Rights Under the CPA
Under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to return goods purchased online within 7 days for a full refund, provided the product is unused and in original packaging. We honor this right and strive to make the process simple. For defective products, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, at your choice, within 6 months of purchase.
